Scotty
Scotty is a project for a Middle Eastern company that provides food delivery and courier services on motorcycles. Scotty included back-end services such as bike taxi, customer pickup, product delivery, food delivery and various business services.
Through the sudden unexpected overload of users, the application faced overload more than once, so we changed the architecture several times and added new servers.
The project had a cross-national team, so there were corresponding difficulties in communication and expertise of the client’s team. But we helped to select and train local engineers to whom we transferred part of the work.
Our team developed a platform structure that contained several components such as microservices based backend, main website, admin panel, affiliate panel, mobile applications and related websites.
The team planned the project architecture and developed the first version of the platform, which worked for 1.5 years after launch. The project involved more than 11 thousand drivers with almost 1 million users. There were 3 million completed transactions.
